If there are 2 words that we would use to describe Al’s competition horses: they are calm and pure. Having now watched what Al is doing at home we now understand why. Al has his horses correct yet he isn’t making major adjustments to achieve his objectives. There are a few new concepts including ‘drawing a line’ where he wants his horses to break off (change direction) and choose a line to work a beast along. There are also some great concepts and explanations about some common problems competitors experience on course from running out of the circle to pulling through a changeover.
